What is L.E.G.A.C.Y.
LEGACY stands for (Leadership Empowerment Growth Achievement Comes from our Youth) and has developed programs to address the problems of illiteracy, youth violence and childhood obesity and strives to eliminate obstacles affecting today’s urban youth by providing mentorship, developing creativity, training and supportive services that will enable them to be outstanding leaders of tomorrow. LEGACY will not be for all students, but we will be a resource for all students in which we serve. We will provide information on other programs available to students. LEGACY is a movement to save our youth. LEGACY is a 501(c)(3) organization.

LEGACY ARTS & THEATER PROGRAM
LEGACY™s Arts/Theater Youth Program is a production course designed to equip students with the skills necessary to put on a full theater production.

Our Mission
To teach urban youth how to handle the responsibilities of being an effective leader in a church, family, school, community, and corporate by providing them with the resources and life skills needed to be a leader of today and well into the future.
Get Involved
We need volunteers for LEGACY™s Art/Theater Youth summer program that have experience in drama, music, vocals, or dance to teach our students on Saturdays through the summer until the showcase. We also need volunteers to sign students in, serve refreshments, and fundraiser events
